Product Description

Hot on the trail of a cold-blooded killer, a small-town sheriff risks his life — and his heart — with one sexy partner …

Raised in a family of professional bounty hunters, Natasha King knows the dangers of tracking down fugitives — especially when they’re wanted for murder. But this is no ordinary mission. This time, it’s personal. The suspect is her own long-lost father — and the lawman hunting him down is dangerously close to catching her off-guard …

In all his years as sheriff, Trent Oakley has never seen a woman as strong-willed — or as scorching hot — as Natasha. With her big-city experience and black-belt training, she’s his best chance for tracking down the Trinity Ranch killer. Problem is: Can he trust her? As the trail gets hotter, their attraction burns wilder, and soon Trent’s not sure who’s hunting who. But one thing’s for sure: Natasha is one woman who always gets her man …

My Review:

Natasha King was raised with her cousins Marc and Jake by her aunt and uncle in the bounty hunter family business.  Her mother left when she was little and her dad con artist George King hasn't been around for many years.

She receives a phone call asking if she knows where he father is and when she replies she doesn't know the man hangs up.  The same day she receives a call from Sheriff Trent Oakley from Weaverville asking the same question where is her father.  He also asks her to come to Weaverville if she wants to help her father.  When she arrives in town he informs her that her dad is a suspect in a brutal murder.  As they investigate they both fall in love while trying to keep Natasha alive.

Natasha was a kick ass heroine, strong-willed, pushy and a firecracker.  Trent is like his dad the former Sheriff who knows how to solve a crime and to close the case.  I thought Trent was a over the top Neanderthal who enjoyed man-handling Natasha but a sexy one at that.  I believe he actually enjoyed it!

I highly recommend this series if you enjoy sexy alpha heroes and kick ass heroines with action-packed storylines and gruesome killings.

4/5
